Title: Henry J Ignition Switch
Post by: BigDave LM6174 on April 06, 2013, 02:33:42 PM
What is the correct ignition switch for a Henry J?  My '52 has 4 position switch for some reason.  Shouldn't it just be a 2 position?

Original has just two - on and off.

What you have is probably the "universal" accessory-off-on-start switch with a screw on bezel. That bezel scratches the underling paint in a circle that is larger than the correct bezel on the HJ on-off switch. The HJ switches show up on ebay with some regularity. The bezels almost never do.Right now there is one with the bezel on ebay.
