I am dumfounded by the sales price. Beyond speechless!

I am not surprised. First, remember they showed no pictures of the engine compartment...maybe the potential buyers were scared off by what they saw. Second, the market has always been fickle when it comes to the general K-F vehicles (regular cars not Darrins, not Convertibles, etc).

That was truly the big deal of the day (as Monty Hall used to say). I've personally witnessed HJs with gaping holes in the sheet metal go for almost as much at auctions over the last year. Either the market has literally disappeared for Henry Js or the car looked alot better in pictures than in the flesh. I suspect the latter.

Lowell.. Except for the narrow whites an a hood ormand spear that looks a bit long I can't see anything out of the ordinary.
