Your serial number doesn't line up with the current list of known Willys or Kaiser models. Can you post a pic of the serial number tag? I can tell you that a casting number of 807XXX puts the engine at about 1953-55.

The KFOCI HANDBOOK on CD has a section on Willys Identification that covers 1945-1960 or so model years.  The reason why the picture of the tag is needed is that the actual military version of the tag has different info than the civilian and most people here reference "civies" rather than military surplus.

TRy calling WILLYS AMERICA at 707-632-5258 . I had the same problem and posted the info on the forum and JIm sent the info and informed me it was a 1956 . I didn't understand as i didn't have an education on the " JEEP " . HE was right and was confirmed by lots of research , looking at pictures in old Willys books and such . I was looking at the WILLYS AMERICA book and called about a part and gave them the info . A fellow told me he wrote the book on serial numbers and also confirmed the year .
I thank the folks on the forum for their help . WE can't all be experts on every aspect of this hobby but within the club there are enough folks that have info  that most items are covered .

As Henry Ford once said (and I paraphrase because I do not have the actual quote available), "I do not have know everything, only where to find the answers."
