Title: New screws from Manufacturing fund
Post by: Kory Fox on June 01, 2013, 08:45:21 AM
In the new bulletin they list a new item right at the top which are a certain type of screw. Can someone tell me what exactly those screws are for?

On the 47-8 cars, their use is limited. If memory serves, they're used on the inner fenders to secure the removeable inspection cover (right lower inner fender). As the cars get newer, their use increased to being used to connect most of the inner fender parts to one another as well as other applications throughout the car. Until the fund reproduced them, they were hard to find and as I parted out cars, I would hoard them.

Since that stuff is already put back together on my car, albeit probably not the correct screws, I'm not looking for pionts, so I'm just going to leave it be.
