Title: dash removal
Post by: Henry's HenryJs on September 04, 2013, 07:42:55 AM
Along the top of my 51 dash are screws, does that mean the steel dash panel comes off? Are there screws under also? Thanks, Henry.

If you are referring to the four screws along  the top of the dash, those hold the defroster duct takeoffs in. They're not for removing the dash.

Thanks, there is rust under the dash, looks like a pain in the back to clean up under there, Henry.

Your not supposed to look under there!

Well Terry, when I judge HJs, I run my hand along the inside of the rockers. If my hand comes out with blood on it, that means 1 point off!
