Hi, I still need a radiator for my '53 Eagle and also one for a '54 Eagle. The '54 has the 226 engine with hydramatic and I do not know if they are the same radiator. Does anyone have any leads? Thanks, Gordie

Have you checked with Lou Retzer about getting a radiator for your Aero Willys? Lou does not have a computer, so you will have to either write or call him. He is in the KFOCI directory, and lives in Illinois. If you cannot find it, you can e-mail me at kaiserfrazerlibrary@yahoo.com

Thanks Jack, that is a great lead! Gordie

I know this topic is ancient, but here's some additional info:
1952-1953 4-cyl & 161 flatheads took Harrison radiator, Willys part number 803268.
1952-1953 F-heads used Harrison radiator, Willys part number 803256.
1954-1955 226's used Willys part number 905846 (Harrison?).
I knew 226's used a different radiator, but had no idea that different radiators were used for the two different 161 engines.

That also begs the question....did any other car use them? And was the heater core Willys only ?
-
Oops, forgot this: optional hot climate radiator (Group 35-14) is part number 803268 for the 1952-1953's and early 1954's. I do not find a listing for 226-engined cars.
Also, the Willys parts books do not show a unique part number for the heater core itself. I do remember that there are two different cores: one with the hose nipples on the front, one with the nipples on the side.

Hollander says their #679 fits 53-54 Willys model 675 part # 803268
#680 fits53-54 Willys model 685 part # 803256
Both these radiators use the same core. They don't fit any other cars.
That's all they say.

Thanks for the info....what does it say about heater cores ?

I recently discovered that a '52 box I've got has the side nipples but my '54 box has rear nipples. The heater core for rear nipples is longer too. Was the bigger heater available on earlier models or was it a production change to get more heat into the cabin on the later cars?
