Hi All
My fried just purchased a Henry J and the attached part was included with the sale.
Any idea what it is, I'm stumped. It looks like a frame support for the Vagabond Continental Kit
Thanks Bob

It's not a Henry J item. It's actually a prewar front grille guard...maybe GM. I had one nearly identical to yours on a 41 Pontiac parts car.

To re-iterate what Joe has said - it's not a Henry J part. So many cars back in those days were customized as that was a very popular thing to do in the 1950s so you see a lot of cars that have parts on them which are not original.

Looks exactly like it.......Thanks for the info guys.

Those were universal accessories and were sold by all of the major parts stores and Pep Boys,
Sears etc. There are many varieties and also the various car manufacturers had their own styles.
