What is the best one to use?

  I would use wheel bearing grease.

It's from a Motor's manual and generic to distributors that are to be lubed- they recommend light oil. I assume that to mean something like 30w.

I use lithium based grease that would be used on suspensions. It is water resistant, has good temp resistance, and best of all, it lasts and lubricates well. Especially because of the gears for the tach drive.
