Title: Looking for original Henry-J or Darrin bumper jack

Since some of the most seasoned Henry J owners do not know what they looked like, I'll post this picture of one. I've seen a number of Henry Js on ebay that claim "original jack..." but they don't. The original jack, looks like this and it's pictured in the 1953-54 owner's manual and the shop manual.

Was the one used by the Darrin the same?
I got this one a few years ago. I see Sunstar models got it right in their Henry J models which is pretty cool.

Post by: mbflemingkf on August 06, 2009, 05:03:31 PM: Lowell, can you give me the overall length of the lug wrench? I have one and would sell it if its the right one. I seem to recall it coming to a point on the one end so (I presume) you can get under a wheel cover or hub cap. What's a fair price for the lug wrench?

Post by: joefrazer on August 06, 2009, 06:33:52 PM: So THAT'S what I have! When I bought my Traveler, one of those was in the back seat. I knew it wouldn't hold up the 50 so I never tried...at least I now know what it fits!

Post by: Fid on August 07, 2009, 05:09:47 PM: Just to show everyone, the new Sunstar diecast Henry J with a trunk lid really got it close when it comes to the jack. It was hard to get a picture of it but they did a good job -

They didn't match the Cape Verde green color very well as this one is darker and has more metallic in it than KF's Cape Verde green had. Don't let that stop you from getting one though. They're pretty darn nice, best KF model I've seen of any kind.
