Title: My Ride, My Story
Post by: DTort96646 on December 19, 2014, 06:54:30 AM
Here's an article from a local Boston area newspaper about my Darrin and my story, for anyone that's interested. The link is http://bcove.me/87bx2irg

Great video! It will surely stir some conversation - whether the door handles should face forward or to the rear.

I used to live in Brockton, MA and while traveling for business I ran across a fellow in Bellingham who was a Hudson dealer and he had several Kaisers on his lot that he kept after switching over to selling AMC. He had a nice 54K under an awning that had a tree branch growing thru the rear windows that had been left down. I wish I had taken a picture.

That fellow in Bellingham is now gone and his son has sold just about all the cars he had. I bought my 1951 Frazer Manhattan from him in 1985, and that's the next project I'll be finishing.

I think it's funny how he is stroking the fender like it's a family pet! ;-)

It was a nervous reaction to the interview, and it is more than a family pet.
