Title: Engine specs
Post by: jerussel on October 15, 2009, 09:37:27 PM
Hey all,

Is there a single source for for engine measurements, tollerences, and torque settings?

If so, where can I lay hands on a copy?

Thanks,
John

KF did publish service stanards booklets that listed most of what you're looking for. Most of the larger kliterature vendors (Walter Miller, Ken McGee, etc) should have them. You can check ebay as they appear there from time to time too. If memory serves, there's a version for the early (47-50) cars, one for later cars and a third for the HJ. I know I have them...but they must be tucked away in a box somewhere as they aren't in the bookcase here in the library.

I am sure you will find your money is well spent when you purchase ben's CD. It's a wealth of info and well worth it to any restorer/owner.
