Title: Vent knob removal

Before I break them, does anyone know if the vent knobs on the Henry J, unscrew off or are they put on in such a way that they have to be broken off to replace them? I don't want to try first without asking.

I am talking about the fresh air vents, not the wing vent windows.

I found the answer in a July 2014 post. Looks like they have to be broken off. I did not want to hear this.

Rudy used to sell the replacement knobs for $18 apiece. They look great. The choke knob does not come off either - same deal.
