Have a 53 manhattan, I do not have a repair manual as yet looking for one. My question is how do you remove the side windows? I have the side panels removed but just don't see how the windows come out. All the ones I have removed had either a slot were the rollers slipped out of the rail or bolts were removed to seperate the window from the slide rail. This seems to have niether one. I'm sure it is a simple prosess it just escapes me right now.
Thanks, Terry

To remove the larger passenger door glass, you will need to first, remove the vent window assemblies. There are 4 screws that hold the assembly in place...basically one at each corner of the frame and the 4th at the bottom of the vertical rail. The topmost one is under the window gasket so you'll have to feel around to find it. Once the screws are loose, wind the larger window almost all the way down and then remove the vent assembly. Then guide the door glass back up so that you can reach and remove the clips that attach the lower channel to the arms.
Installation is the reverse of the above.
Liberal use of PB Blaster or WD40 will make the job easier as most of the screws are small and probably rusty.

Thanks for the info joefrazer I kinda thought the vent windows had to be removed first, now this confirms it. Looks like I will be working late tonight.
Also Thanks Ben for the info about the CD I will be contacting you later.
