Title: C 119 Flying Boxcar
Post by: Gordie on May 30, 2015, 07:32:19 PM
I recently came upon the Final Inspector's Handbook published by Kaiser Frazer Corporation at Willow Run Michigan.  It is interesting that Kaiser Frazer also made airplanes in a different section of the plant that was originally made to build B-17 bombers by Ford.  It is 86 pages in length and covers the specs of the airplane very well.  I guess I better hold on to it in case a C119 ever flies into one of our National meets and wants to be judged.  It is a K-F product after all!!!  Maybe I shouldn't worry too much as there has never been a quantity of Kaiser dish washers at a meet that wanted to be judged either! We do get to see an occasional Graham-Paige Frazer Rototiller at our meets.
