Title: 49 Frazer Brake Hoses
Post by: FrazerWill on November 12, 2009, 11:49:19 AM
I'm back to my brakes on my 49 Frazer. I still need the rear hose... My notes say "up to 1971, CJ5" but when I look at it at the store, it 3" or more shorter then my 19" hose...anyone??

I'll need info on the front hoses soon too. Haven't checked those yet.
 Thanks, Will

If you take the hose to NAPA they can measure it and find one that's close or useable. I did that for my Henry J. The rear one is about 20 inches long and a NAPA 36091 works for that.  Take yours to the store and have them look that one up and see if the fittings are the same. It may work for Frazer too.

I have acquired hoses from this source in Argentina at least three or four times and if you use paypal, there's no bother with an envelope and postage.  Receival time was never more than a couple weeks or so. The real problem now days is the right front wheel cylinder as I know of no sources for those with the original bolt holes and have had to drill holes on two of my Frazers and my Early Special.
