I'm looking for an Autolite vacuum advance for a '51 Henry J. The part number is 212633.
The ones that I've found are IAT 2023J , IAT 2023RD

Rudy Phillips has them listed in his old catalog at $45.00. 1 760 789 3608

That number is for a 6 cylinder only and that's important to note when looking for one as the 4 used a different one. They're all over ebay -

What do the suffix letters mean?
-
Does anyone know what the last letters of the part number on the chamber mean ? The ones that I've seen have D or J or RD or LE or RK or RM or RG
-
Auto-lite took their basic design and "tweaked" them for specific application. The final characters of the part number reflected what was modified compared to others that looked the same. This changed around 1957 with the new numbering sequence. I am trying to secure the "translation" and if I get it, I can add it to the next release of KFOCI HANDBOOK.

Thanks for the information. I would like to see the differences.

I do know that Auto-Lite starter solenoids, voltage regulators, and perhaps more had date codes that reflected the year and month of manufacture. Example: 6E could mean June '52.

My records indicate that I have a '51HJ6 vacuum advance. I will check to verify if you still need it.
