Is there a link to a vin and trim decoder for 51 kaisers? I just found one from the the dealership in Shunk Pa.

If you're thinking of decoder in the context of those used to decode VIN numbers on cars produced from the 60s thru today, no, there is nothing available for KF. That's because, other than sequential build info, the VIN contains little that's useful. The trim tag, however, contains a wealth of information that is available to club members through a few different sources.

It's from a 1951 Kaiser Deluxe 4-door sedan that was originally built for sale in the USA (rather than export) painted black & had a cloth interior. The car came with overdrive & the standard factory installed Accessory Group.
The body tags you show have a wealth of information for the restorer as K-F used them to document the car as built. If you are expecting to get anything off the VIN number (the door post serial number) other than its place in the production run, you are out of luck; same goes for the engine ID number, other than info on oversize/undersize engine parts when applicable.
The full details on the body tag numbers will be found in KFOCI HANDBOOK, a CD that members get when they join the club. It is a freebie for joining and is not sold.

Ok that's pretty much what I meant. Not so much a vin decoder but the trim and parts decoder. I guess I need to renew my membership again lol.
