They look like good project cars. I hope they find homes. The '53 you posted is actually a Dragon, not a Manhattan. Best of luck.

The Dragon is a "stock" photo of a 53 KF that the seller found on the Internet. In his actual ad, there is no photo of the 53, that I can see.

The description of your 53 is that it is Black. Onyx is a nice not often seen color. We would love to see photos. Your price is 100% fair for both cars, BUT the market is tough for KF projects. I am in Iowa. A KF friend offered me a rare 1948 Frazer for a reasonable price, but he is in California. It's just a deal killer for trasnport costs.
But I am pretty sure there is a large contigent of KF collectors in nor Cal and NW.

Yes, I caught that. I just mentioned the car in the stock photo was a Dragon as opposed to Manhattan. I probably should have said they "sound" like good cars. Anyway, if there's a cheap, easy way to convert a Manhattan to a Dragon please share.

Testors Gold Paint may be a good start. :-*

I'm confused - the ad now reads '54 Manhattan and '53 Dragon. The other car is now pictured but there's no way to tell if it's a Dragon based on the pictures. I hope I didn't get the seller thinking all '53s that look like that are Dragons. The fact that the bottom of the dash is painted and not chrome indicates it is not a Dragon. I would ask lots of questions before coming to see them as my guess is the actual '53 listed is not a Dragon.

The 54 looks like it might definately be worth a shot at that price except for transport costs, but can't tell about the other. Lack of chrome drip rail on roof suggests not a Dragon, Just my 2 cents worth.

See what you did! I am just kidding of course. Nonetheless, I still see this as a good deal for KF restorers in the NW, but I suspect there are none left.
It is for sure a Manhattan. The price has not changed, so it is not as if the seller is trying to profit off the Dragon misprint.
