Title: 1951 Kaiser Deluxe Research
Post by: BigDave LM6174 on January 28, 2016, 11:54:13 PM
A guy near me has just  purchased a 51 Kaiser.  I am helping him decipher the data plate.  I have the handbook, but I have some questions.  The Data plate is attached.  I am not finding Paint 573.  And what is the A in the body number?

The interior 2150 is Green Richmond with Volta Cloth.

Paint 573 is Garden Green metallic.

Garden Green Metallic sounds correct.  It shows up on several Service Bulletins but just as a lacquer color - no name related.
The Color Plate shows the number related to Garden Green Metallic.

Looks same as the dark "Cape Verde Green" #325 on my Green 52 Henry J.

Disregard the question about the "A", I found it in the handbook that it denotes that it was built in Long Beach, CA.

Photo?  We would love to see it.  Our 51 Kaiser was also assembled at Long Beach.  This was the second night of the opening of Star Wars VI.
