It appears that the fuel tank senders for these cars are generally non-existent. The cost to repair them is very high. Research shows that they may be the same King-Seeley units (KS Bi-metal design, not the resistor type) used on some Ford products (Ford Part Number BG-92750-A) up to and including the 56 Ford Sedan Delivery. Does anyone out there know for sure where to get a good working unit or NOS unit for those models at a reasonable price (less than $100.00)?

Kaiser Willys Supply has quite a selection of sending units........ Most of the Jeep units will work on our
favorite K/F cars........ If you expand the pictures in their catalog you can match what's available to what you need......

How about NOS devices?

Rudy might have them....... I've used the KW Supply units in several of my cars and they work well. Then again -
I'm not into paying a fortune for a part that is 65 years old and may be of marginal quality. Few - if any - will
know it's a re-pop part as it's inside the tank. But I realize I'm more about function than " correctness " when it
comes to " hidden " parts. I wish you the best as you begin your project !!!!

Check with our web master. I think he also has new sending units.
