how do you remove the door post lamp 51 Kaiser I'm scared I'm going to break prying on it
-
They are held in place with a spring clip. Use a flat putty knife and wedge it between the top of the lamp lamp and pillar upholstery and pull the knife toward the center of the car - the lamp should pop out. They're pretty sturdy and once out, you'll see how they're assembled and held in place.

thanks for the info I bought the car a year ago it set for 25years it had been mostly restored then now I'm trying to get it all running again motor was stuck but finally got it running and drove for first time last week now I need to now if under the trunk lid should be painted the same as the car
-
If the exterior paint is two toned, the inside of the trunk might be the same color as the top.

I've owned 3 2-toned late model Kaisers and the inside of the trunk lid was the same as the lower body color on all 3. ;)

My 53k was green over ivory and it had a green trunk. My 53 was very early production...that may be the key.
