Is the dash a Kaiser color ? Seems strange .

I think you're right - the head has been changed. I've only seen that head, the one that says '226' on it, in the later cars. Only '54/'55s that I recall. Joe Frazer can likely verify for sure.

It's got the early round shift lever knob. 

The seller should hire a decent photographer! Jeez, some of those pics are useless.  I like that color on the early ones.
