Title: Willys trunnion fix
Post by: Keith on June 01, 2016, 08:25:13 AM
LINE2LINE. I had this company build up the threads with powder coating. They specialize in piston coating. I was unable to get lower trunnions, so this has been a great fix for a reasonable cost. So far everything is tight & working good.  www.line2linecoatings.com

I heard quite some time back that someone had hard chromed steering knuckle threads to bring them back to tolerance. From what I've seen, knuckle threads wear much more evenly than trunnions.

Keith, how are your trunnions doing now and how many miles do you have on them?
