The green '51 Kaiser (top picture) is the one that was owned by Henry J Kaiser. Great car. The copper '53 Manhattan has a Minnesota plate on it. I don't believe I've ever seen that one.
-
That copper 53 is beautiful. They are all nice but I was drawn to that color. Isn't it funny FID how cars might be right under our nose and we don't know!
KEEP THE PHOTOS COMING!

I owned that red 4 cyl. Henry J. It was originally restored by Bob McBride and has his very first repo wiring harness!
We said a reluctant good by about 5 years ago.The wife and saying good by.

Just back from the national convention and if you did not attend, you missed a great meet. About 210 members and their guests saw 52 cars in the parking lot with such notable vehicles as a 53 Dragon, several Darrins, two Carabelas, and many more KFW products. There were 180 at the banquet where we were treated to a middle school improv group that entertained us with off the cuff skits. The kids were good! Our own David Smith, a well known country music artist and club member, sang a few songs and told a few jokes as well.
In all, it was a great week that went too fast. Between the tours to the Lincoln sites, to stops at some great roadside attractions and restaurants, no one was bored. The only thing we could have done without was a few cases of vapor lock due to the 90 degree heat. But, that goes with the Kaiser-Frazer territory!
I'll post a few pictures soon.

Sounds like a great turnout for a mid country meet. 52 cars! Can't wait for the photos.

The club got some great publicity during the convention. Here is a link to a local news story:
