I'm trying to assist a foreign member find a steering wheel for his 51F sedan. Is the steering wheel used on other models and does anyone have a lead on one for sale?
Here are some pics.
Thanks, Mike

That must be a really rare one with right hand drive! The dash board is really unusual!

Probably Australia - laws required conversion. The parts book lists the RHD items needed.

Yes, correct, the car is in Australia. Anyone know if this steering wheel was used with other models and does anyone have one for sale?

'51 Frazer steering wheels were prone to falling apart. Would a '49-50 Kaiser or Frazer steering wheel work?
-
Gordie...thanks for the lone response. I got an email from the club member saying his buddy and he were going to "rebuild" the one he had and that he didn't need for me to look for one after all.
Go figure, right?

The '49 Frazer steering wheels were the same for the standard models but the Manhattan ones were color coded (see attached pic, it has a black "glove" on it but it's dark green). I've seen a lot of '49/'50 Frazer Manhattan steering wheels in the '51. The '51 Frazer my dad had in the early 2000s had a '49 steering wheel. He advertised for a '51 Frazer steering wheel in the bulletin for the better part of a year and got not one call. It's a rare part indeed.
