Title: KFC
Post by: Gordie on August 03, 2016, 11:05:31 AM
KFC today stands for Kentucky Fried Chicken but eighty years ago it stood for Kaiser Frazer Corporation.  There was recently a lapel pin on eBay that said KFC "SUPERVISOR"  I have seen others that were similar but said "OFFICE"  Ford in 1949 had similar pins and there were about six different varieties.  I wondered if any of us have similar pins from this set?  K-F items from the factory are difficult to find.

If someone could post a picture of a Pin, We all could start to look for Them.

I obtained this pin from Edgar Kaiser's family a few years ago.

Jim's pin is a maroon color and the Supervisor pin is a gold color.  Does anyone else have different variations?  These two are the only ones that I have seen.  K-F also issued many different pins and buttons for salesmen and service people at the dealerships.
