Title: CircleKF stepping up to Willys Support
Post by: pnw_oldmags on September 15, 2016, 07:39:16 PM
Working on bringing online some Willys Aero Manuals.
Here is the first Parts Manual for your enjoyment and reference.
This one is Parts peculiar to 1954-1955 Passenger Cars.
This is a supplement to the 1952-1953 Willys Passenger Car Parts List.

Working on the 1952-1953 Willys Passenger Car Parts List next ... all 400 plus pages and photos.

Wow, that is not a small task.

Kudos to you for taking the time and expense to make this valuable info available to everyone!

The 52 - 53 Parts Manual is very large.  Now up to page 160.

Very interesting group of Parts Numbers.  Great photos of almost everything.

Jim:

Great job!  I will have to get a clean copy of the 1952 - 1953 Willys Passenger Car Parts List for myself to thumb through.

Have a brand new 52-53 manual but did not wish to remove the staples for the scan.  Besides the experienced one is readable - Stains and All.

As far as I can tell, there were two preliminary Aero parts books (1952 - 685 and 675), one 1952 Wing and Ace (685) book (there may also be a regular issue 675 book but I have not seen one), one passenger car parts manual (1953) and three supplements (1954, 1954-1955 [c 1955] and 1954-1955 [c 1956]. pics of covers attached.

We are working on scanning the 400 page one.  Scanned the first 300 pages so far.

Aeroman:  Do you have all of the parts manuals you have shown?

Yes I do, Jim. Which ones do you need for scanning, I'll send them. I can't get that one sales book finished, so I'm not gonna start another project like that.

The latest Supplement for the 54-55 models for sure.

If you could use the LOOKUP Part Number function in the Parts Dept and test a few parts from each of the Parts Manual.

If it does not find the part ... then I best get that part manual scanned and keyed in.

I am assuming the big one covered all previous manuals and the last supplement should cover it for us.

THANKS.

Jim

There were several update bulletins to various pages in the big parts manual. My manual has those blue inked "ditto" pages cut and taped to various pages. I have not found sources for these. Perhaps I should scan them and send them to you. As you know and as with everything I do - when I get the time.

And thanx so much for doing this.
