Title: tail light bulb #
Post by: Henry's HenryJs on November 03, 2016, 11:56:47 AM
My HJ's came with 12V bulbs in them, the 51 has one pin removed. What bulb is the correct replacement? I have a HJ book but it lists the K/F number not a bulb number.

According the KF Henry J Factory Service Standards booklet, the tail lights are indeed 1154.

this assumes that you have the original bulb sockets with the slots for the pins being the same distance from the end of socket rather than staggered

The 1158 bulb has evenly spaced pins, the 1154 bulb has staggered pins.

Thanks, I have some 1154's but did not want to grind one pin off. I ordered some 1158's.

E bay is full of 1158 bulbs also, they are available in filament type and also LED although I don't know how well the LED will work with 6 volts. Tractor stores may have them also.
