thanks Chris for posting this. I had not seen any of the old Darrin newsletters. While the text in this newsletter has a humorous bend to it regarding the harsh ride, the reality is that all those early sports cars had a "spartan" ride which most younger guys did not mind. In the early 1960s my buddy bought an old Austin Healey 300 which we cruised around corners in and had a lot of fun but it was not something to do for very long as it was hard and harsh and with lots of rattles and 4 cylinder vibration! In the late 1990s I had the opportunity to drive a fully restored Darrin that was for sale and it was actually a better ride than that old Austin Healey!

Not sure, but back in 1980, wasn't Andy Schroyer editing the Darrin Newsletter as well as keeping the registry?
