Thank you Ben; you brought back some great memories for me also...I was raised on a farm,, and in the late 40's I think all the men were in a contest to see who could get the nicest car,,,,When my dad brought home a new 51 kaiser(with bambo interior) and its sparkling light blue paint.....he won...thanks for the memories

Kaiser Forum / Re: Supercharger fuel pumps

Hi; A few years ago,I had several Kaisers and Frazers...And at the time there was a great concern about the additives in the gasoline ruining (or being bad )for the stock valves.....At that time I used gasoline additives (lead) to help preserve the engine,,,Also the same problem existed for the fuel pump gaskets...Now I have a 54 Manhatten...will these precautions be needed for this car?   Thanks for all the knowlege you all share,,

hi; I'm alittle late with this post......but would like to put my two cents in. I have in the past ,and am about to start another project, this time with a Kaiser...I build all my cars to drive, and have found the old chevy 350 to be most reliable ..but I purchace a camaro sub frame to put it in ,, I take the front clip off the project car and actually saw the frame off  with a sawsall..but first measure, measure measure to get the wheel base the same...then cut the camaro sub frame to fit to the project cars frame..this the time for a lot of clean up and engine compartment painting..Install the engine and trans of choice,,I;m useing a 700r4 and a camaro rear end,(all the wheels the same)If done right, this combination is hard to beat...thanks
