Did you find the letters you need?  I found some if you still need them.

Yes I do recognize this item.  I have the same item.  It was originally attached to a marble pen set they put out to the Dealers.  It was called the champion dealership award.  I'll try to post a picture sometime.  I am having trouble getting pictures to post on this Forum.

Posting pictures are very difficult on this site.  People like pictures and they are very easy to post on Facebook.

I do have another one somewhere that was from that meet (I think Michigan 1974).  Ken gave them out with stock certificates and several other items inserted in them.  If I can find it I will put on pictures.  I always wondered if he threw the insides of them away so he could put the meet agenda in them.

There seem to be several variations of this.  Some of the books have hard cover and some have a soft cover.  I haven't found much history on these.

Someone told me I was wrong and I should have long shoe on back. So I took his advice and they have been dragging ever since.  That's why they where dragging.  I need to quit listening to non KF people.

When you put the front brakes on a 1953 do you put the longer brake shoe on the front or back side?
Thanks

Judging & Factory Correct Discussions / Re: JUDGING STANDARDS

I think first timers should be able to go through judging with the Judge.  Then everything correct and wrong could be explained.  I can remember one of the first times I got judged, a knowledgeable member came over and explained a lot of wrong things to me.  That helped me tremendously in the future.

Do you know the KF part number.  I have a lot of stuff in KF boxes but I would need a number.

I don't think that argument will ever be decided.  I never heard (Will- Iss) when I was young.  None of the factory workers or dealers I knew ever called it that.  I thought it was a new word.

I love collecting Postcards.  I collect many vintage postcards of local towns in my area and many automobile PCs.  Bring some to the National and maybe we can make some trades.  I have many
dublicates I can bring.
