hydromatic crank will fit standard block no problem. Hydromatic crank has different size hole and diameter on back end of crank but rest fits. Flywheel different. Concur use standard block but hydro crank flywheel

I have several of the bolt of FRAm canisters an you can get filters for those. 25.00 for the canister and have some filters 7.50 each you can gat them from NAPA or Wicks. brittingj@hotmail.com

how can you distinguish between a standard trans. versus hydro. starter?
Have one with Delco number but not sure if it is for standard or hydro.

yes if someone does have the crankshaft hole diameter and depth that would help a lot.

How can you tell the difference between them ? Have casting numbers but understand it is hole size. HELP
