Your post was three and a half years ago so maybe this information is no longer useful to you.

I got all my new glass from Bob's Auto Glass at 1-800-624-2130,  bobsclassicautoglass.com

I did a chassis swap on my '52 Henry J before I ever heard of the S-10 swap. The S-10 chassis is a pretty popular choice now. My car is on a '78 Corvette chassis that was stretched four inches. We ran into steering problems so we bought the Mustang II subframe kit from Full Tilt Street Rods in Colorado.

I bought my weather stripping from a guy named Parker many years ago. I heard he was closing his business so I bit the bullet and paid the price. I have not installed the windshield yet because I don't have the center piece. I found one in Arkansas from a guy who served in the same place I did in Vietnam. We can't seem to get off the phone when we talk.

I don't know where the ad originated. I found it on the internet.

The housing in your photo is just slightly different in that the ridge on the horizontal side extends from front to back and the ridge on mine only extends 1.5" from the back. Regardless, if the four lenses are good, I'll pay your full price if you pay for shipping. I am in Port Townsend, Washington 98368.

Does anyone have a tail light lens from United Marine Mfg., St. Louis, back in the 1950's? I have both housings and only one lens. My lens is cracked but it is complete. Maybe I will have to use a plastic molding kit to make another one.

Anyone have a source for the screw and the nylon nut for the two headlight adjustments on each side?

I went to the local airport today and talked to a aircraft mechanic. He showed me a special tool for installing new aircraft brake linings. Steel rivets are used and, when done, are very flat. Should work out well--I'll let everyone know.

I had the wing window frame, handle and hinge parts rechromed. I'm about to get the new glass cut. What is the best way to reinstall the pieces into the frame. I've looked at various rivet procedures but I'm not sure what is best. Anyone completely stripped down these frames and riveted the parts back onto the frame?
