Kaiser Forum / turn signal relay buzzer
« on: October 20, 2013, 04:02:09 PM »
I dont know if turn signal relay buzzers were ever fitted to the Kaiser. I have replaced a few with louder ones on different cars in the past, saves making other drivers crazy when I keep ur turn signal on. Sometimes I forget it.

I had a 1959 Ford wagon that I towed my race car with. It had the foot control for tuning radio stations and was very nice. Driving thru the nite u could kick the switch without taking ur eyes off the road and get many long skip stations during the long nite tow. Wish they still had those.

Seems like different cars respond differently to radials. My 1949 Buick Super was a handful until I changed to radials long time ago. Drove perfect after that. But have been disappointed with radials on other of my cars.

Make sure ur seat belt anchors under the car  are round, square ones will open the floor in case of accident like a can opener.

Kaiser Forum / 1953 Dragon Oil Pump
« on: October 04, 2013, 08:13:56 PM »
I have taken my 1953 Dragon oil pump apart, the gasket between the bottom plate and the body of the pump seems to be made of lead or some other soft metal. Other pumps I have rebuilt have a paper gasket to set the end play of the rotors. Is paper OK on the Dragon pump or does it take a special gasket??
