those pages show a detailed removal procedure for the lock mechanism, however as far as the cylinder it simply says " on the front doors,  the door  lock cylinder must be removed before the lock may be removed"
It's the lock cylinder I'm looking to remove, and it does not mention that procedure.

Frazer Forum / door lock removal

If I'm correct in the assumption that a 51Frazer had one key that did doors and ignition, I'd like to remove the door lock cylinder and have it keyed so I have an ignition key. Does anybody know the procedure for removing the door lock cylinder ? I see a small screw just inside the door edge, is this the ticket?

Thanks

problems with uploading pics,  on my phone they are jpeg but when i download its changing them to html?

The car is very solid, floors rockers all panels rust free, all chrome intact not rusted or pitted, all glass intact, interior complete including headliner, if not for the missing steering wheel it looks like it could be driven out of the barn!

any idea how to download the pics from my phone?

Hello, I have stumbled across a 1951 F515  mostly complete  minus all 4 wheels, steering wheel and radiator, absolutely no rust or rot, very solid, all glass intact, no dents, interior and headliner intact, been inside and dry for at least the last 25 years, not been on road since 95. trying to get a ball park value on this car so i can make an informed decision on whether or not to buy it. Does not appear it would take much to have it back on the road  safely. Seller started at 4500, recently dropped to 3500, pretty sure that is too high for this car but, ???????  any input would be helpful. I do have a few pics I could post if needed. The car has no title as well

Kaiser Forum / fuel tank capacity
« on: June 21, 2018, 09:14:53 PM »
does anybody know how much fuel a 51 Deluxe tank holds ? I added four gallons - it read about 1/8, added four more about 1/4, added four more now it reads 3/4. I started  from a bone dry tank, had it out to repair the sender.

General Discussion / Water Pump Leaking?
« on: June 18, 2018, 12:07:47 PM »
I have a pretty significant coolant leak in the area of the water pump although it doesn't seem like its actually the pump itself. Breather hole is dry, hoses dry, t-stat housing dry so its not rolling down. The wet area seems to be where the motor mount bracket meets the block. Is there a another coolant passage behind the pump? an adapter plate maybe? Coolant rolls down the side of the block and travels rearward along the oil pan to block surface then drips to the floor. Any ideas?

Thanks for the help Gents, all in and working. This pump would not run on + ground however, so I ran it directly to the battery with a toggle switch, have a regulator set on 3psi, everything seems to be working fine.  Now to tackle the coolant leak, Im off to search threads on coolant leaks near water pump! ( appears to be behind the pump)

Yes, the pump is located at the rear of vehicle, on frame rail at rear wheel. It is the regulator I was referring to that i located between the mechanical pump and the carb. The pump is e8011, not sure if rotary type or solenoid type, others on this site have said they used this model?

Ok, so fuel psi regulator it is. I have it mounted between the mechanical pump and the carb, hopefully this is ok. Next, I located a terminal that measures 6v with ignition on, ran a wire from that terminal to a toggle switch, the other side of the toggle switch connected to negative wire from pump. One side of switch measures 6v the other side 0 , when toggled on both sides measure 6v. Is anything proposed here improper? The reason I ask is I dont hear the pump running, I thought I should hear something?
