The reason I asked the Webmaster to take down the previous post, is that our (KFOCI) main focus currently is the 2021 convention in Rochester NY, which to-date has very few registrations.

Perhaps participation in the 2021 convention could be encouraged by advertising it outside of 'closed' club publications. There are several KF product owners who do not belong to the club. Some have large collections of vehicles but only a single KF car. Has anyone tried to manage membership in more than two dozen clubs?? While there is still activity on this forum, why not put up a page dedicated to the 2021 convention with complete information about the convention? Doesn't seem it could hurt...

Best prices for anything K-F seem to be member to member sales or at major club meets like National Conventions.

Speaking of national conventions...is there one this year?

Contact Rhode Island Wiring...I sent them the harness out of our Darrin 12 1/2 years ago and they produced a perfect replica harness for me...they're still producing them.

Don't beat up our club officers who do a fine job for us and the club as I am sure that they were not aware of President Mike Neubeker's decision.  Usually these kind of decisions are made annually at the clubs National Meet which of course never happened this year.  I am sure that Mike is now aware of the feelings of many K-F-W owners.

So the club officers were not aware of the club's president's decision...that's not a club...if one person is making the decisions!

You'll want to place the prism as close to the bottom of the windshield as possible...otherwise you will only see the underside of the visor! Suction cup or magnet? If it is a metal dash either will work...it's your preference. I would go with the magnet...they don't dry out and fall off the surface as a rubber suction cup will.

7/8" is the diameter of the threaded part of the plug...18 is the pitch of the threads.

Why not bid on the 51 frazer that's on ebay right now? It's at $1425. Better hurry though, only 7 hours left!

Click on the gateway link, open it up, you'll see the photos you're looking for. Pic # 90 or so shows under the hood, # 107 shows the firewall tag, 110 or so shows the trunk interior, 120's show underneath and #125 shows the jamb tag!! It's still overpriced though!

Kaiser Forum / Re: A color conundrum...
« on: February 14, 2020, 01:28:44 PM »
Several shades of green were available in the Kaiser lineup... pine tint is the name given to the shade of green on the Kaiser Darrin...it may or may not be the same as one of the other shades of green with a different name...but rest assured pine tint was used on Darrins for 1954...as I mentioned in an earlier post it was also used on later Kaiser and Willys vehicles...

I believe the Darrin was available in Pine Tint. According to my info the Kaiser color code was 228 / 668 in 1953, and 117 in !955, and 117 on Willys in 1955.
