Check your local NAPA auto parts.

They should have all the brake stuff you need in stock.

Sorry I have been gone for so long all.

I have been taking care of my Dad's (Clarence W. Helm) estate.

He passed away on January 15th peacefully at home after a long battle with Diabetes and Vascular Disease.

Here is a link to his Obituary in the Omaha World Herald.

They are readily available at your local NAPA parts house.

I do not have the part numbers, but they are there.

Well Gordie, I am not sure about those issues as I am a new member. Joined KFOCI last month.

I got the information from the KFOCI monthly newsletter and was just wondering if anyone was going tobe able to attend the meet.

Cory, I will look tonight to see who the contact is for Texas and let you know.

Verify that the plug wires are installed using the correct rotation of the engine. I installed new points, plugs, condensor, cap and rotor on my 51 Frazer. Set the point and plug gap to factory specs and the car wouldn't run. It would pop through the intake, then trough the exhaust.

I had my daughter come out and crank the engine over and saw which direction the cap was turning inside the distributor and re-installed the wires going the CORRECT way this time. She fired right up and purred like a 57 year old kitten!!!  LOL

Hope that this helps a little.

I know exactly where that was.

That is some of my old stomping ground (among many others)!

Its a small world Fid.

Your welcome FID.

I found a pictures of her at a car show from last year.

Fid. We purchased the car from the son of a Dr that bought the car new that also lived in Des Moines. We took a day and went sightseeing and picked up the car from him and drove her back. When we got the car it wasn't in very good shape. The interior was rough, the paint was cracking from way too many coats of corn laquer paint. We stripped the car, straightened the body work. And had Max's body shop in Millard NE paint the car. (Max is a freind of Dad's)

The interior work dad and I did ourselves and I think that it turned out great.

The drivetrain was supposedly freshened up just before we got it and they rolled back the odometer so we have no idea how many "true" miles are on the car. The odometer now reads 10,195.

Its a great car that I love owning and driving when I get the chance. I have some more pics of the car if you are interested. Send me an email or a PM and I will send some to you.

Fid, it was bought in Des Moines Iowa by my father a long time ago (I was 14 at the time, now 43). He was a member of KFOCI, not sure that he still is after selling me the car.

As far as I know the car was never for sale in Omaha. Even though we used to live in Bellevue and went to several shows a year with the car.  She is in good shape but needs a little TLC after sitting undriven for about 5 years. Dad had 2 strokes and couldn't give her the attention that she needed or deserved.

I did drive her all of the way back from Evanston Wyoming 5 years ago and only had 1 problem. Burned up a U-joint going through the mountains. Other than that she ran great.

I plan on making a few shows with her this year.

I only have 1. A 1951 Frazer standard. She's been in the family for almost 30 years.
