I am on the email list for Balls, LLC (dba Vintage Glass) from a previous purchase.  I received an email from them asking:

Wish List: We're going to make some Obsolete w/s = Tells us what you need.

I'd like to ask all you Aero owners (& KF) to please take a minute to contact them via the email address below to let them know the Aero windshield is on your wish list.  Having some more windshields available for these cars could go a long way to keeping more of them on the road.
Thank you.

That makes sense! Thank you for that information.

Well I guess these are easy enough to find as a  standard 1.25" mini reflector:
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hillman-9-in-Mini-Reflectors/3058189

Everything I've found so far has a peel off sticky back, but I can take that off and clean it.
I still find these to be a curious component in the housing and I'm interested to see what effect these have on the overall brightness.

What is the purpose of the white reflector that clips in to the top portion of the Willys Aero taillight housings?  Is it just to help spread the light from the bulb below?

Does anyone have a source for these to purchase?  They look fairly generic.  I found a NOS set online for $30, but I'm thinking I could find a cheaper alternative.

Thank you.

If you have other parts that you know about for the Aeros that would help others with their repairs and restorations please post them with part numbers and sources.

Here's another I found to work for me:

Gas Filler Grommet: Tanks, Inc. part # GR4 $6.00+$13.36 shipping
http://www.tanksinc.com/   I found this part to fit the existing gas tank hole and be a suitable replacement.

As I try to get my 1952 Aero Wing back on the road I am coming across some various parts that I'm finding will fit on the Aero.

Headlight bezels (chrome trim rings):
For Willys 1948-1971 CJ3B, Wagon, Truck, FC, Jeepster fit the 1952 Aero. Available as new reproductions. Available from various Willys/Jeep parts dealers.

Headlight buckets:
JEEP CJ5 WILLYS 1955 - 1970 HEADLIGHT BUCKET SET FACTORY OEM with RETAINING RING
I bought these as a used set on EBay for about $40 plus $20 shipping.

Picture of one of the Jeep buckets on the left and one of my old Aero buckets on the right.

Front marker lights/turn signal lights:
JEEP COMBINATION PARKING TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY WILLYS CJ-3B CJ3 CJ5 CJ6
I bought these off EBay. New parts. Mine were $28.79 w/ fee shipping; came from India, so they took about a month to get here.

Picture of the old Aero marker assembly and the new Jeep assembly.

Parking Brake Cable:
Omix-Ada 16730.03 Parking Brake Cable; connects to the t-handle.  Lists as for a Jeep 1955-1971 Jeep CJ5.  Available  new from various Jeep parts dealers, Amazon, etc.  Length is about 62” from the ball to the end of the threads.  My car didn’t have the hardware underneath so I don’t know if this length will be correct for a stock application, but it gets me a new cable from the handle to under the car.  I can make it work from there. Mine will connect to a Ford 8 inch rear end.

Picture of the new cable in the stock t handle.
It's hard to see in the picture, but the handle end has the correct slot for the retaining clip.  I had to rotate the slightly out of round cable end ball just right to get it to slide in.

Willys Forum / Re: Electric Wiper motor 52 Aero
« on: May 23, 2018, 02:48:57 PM »
My Aero came with a motor attached to my wipers.  I can't really see how it connects other than the homemade bracket on the outside.  It looks similar to old Willys Jeep wiper motors like this:

https://www.4wd.com/p/1953-Jeep-Willys-Omix-ADA-12-Volt-Wiper-Motor-Kit-19101.02/_/R-BKGF-19101.02?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping&emlprox=out&ppcfon=1&gp=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjoDDy8uc2wIVRFgNCh29aAIKEAQYAiABEgKDBPD_BwE

It has an off/off switch that I was just going to leave on and then wire in a dash switch.

The cars sold for $500, $500, and $450.  The Jeepster brought $6,100.
I would have loved to bought the '53, but I can't fit a 10 hour one way drive into my schedule right now.
If the buyer of that car happens to read this:   Let's make a deal!!   :D

If you're not familiar with ewillys.com, it's a well run website that a lot of us old Willys/Jeep enthusiasts check out from time to time.  The website owner was sent this cool Willys document to share, available for download:
http://www.ewillys.com/2018/03/02/download-the-willys-story/

It has been noted by some that the production numbers listed likely lean more towards approximate than exact.  There are some Kaiser and Frazer cars shown also.

Parts For Sale & Wanted / Re: Wanted Aero side trim - 2 door
« on: September 29, 2017, 04:20:47 PM »
Thank you. I am in contact with him.  Some of what he has needs a good bit of repair and since that kind of repair is not my forte I'm still interested in good, straight pieces from other sources.

Parts For Sale & Wanted / Wanted Aero side trim - 2 door
« on: September 28, 2017, 07:53:20 PM »
I am looking for good condition side trim stainless pieces for a 2 door Willys Aero.   Shipping to 92083.  They would need to be shipped in a cardboard tube or pvc pipe or it's not worth the risk of them getting damaged in transit.
Thank you.

It's been for sale for over a year. I don't think the $5k price is bringing much interest.

59" track width is what I recall. That closely matches the rear axle's 58.5". Correct me if you have different info.
