Thank you to Terry for getting me the junction block I needed to get my brakes working. A couple small items to clean up so I can take my first test drive.

I need a 5 port brake junction block for my Darrin. I believe it is the same as the 51-54 Henry J. Does anyone have one or know where to get one.

Thank you, I may try to give you a call if the suggest i got from a friend doesn't work out. He suggested a bearing splitter on the backside of the wheel with a regular steering wheel puller bolted to it. A small cushion should keep from damaging the wheel, and it needs sanding and repaint anyway.

I now have the center and horn ring off but I don't see how the steering wheel is pulled off. Usually there are 2 threaded inserts in the wheel and the puller presses on the steering shaft.  I don't see any inserts and the horn wire is coming out of the middle of the shaft. What am I missing?

Does anyone have a source for the 4 port brake junction block? Mine is stripped and leaking.

I have a question about the steering wheel horn ring. I have the same red goo coming out, I will need to get a rubber donut  too but I haven't figured out how to remove the horn ring. I don't want to force something and break it because I don't know what I am doing.

Darrin Forum / New Fuel Tank
« on: March 15, 2021, 08:26:46 PM »
I am finally getting around to installing the new fuel tank I purchased from the manufacturing Fund. The fitting on the end of my fuel line is larger than the filling on the tank. Has anyone else had the same problem and if so what adapter did you use to make the connecting without a huge restriction on the fuel line?

Darrin Forum / Darrin Harness
« on: February 21, 2021, 03:46:45 PM »
Is there anyone building Darrin wire harnesses? I think a guy named Bob Mcbride (sp?) was  but I believe he died a while back. I talked briefly with him about a harness but he told me to contact him a couple months later but I was not able to make it happen. Also, is the connector for the overdrive relay available anywhere? I have a decent used connector but would like to get new contacts if possible. I also though I might try 3d printing some connectors but need a source for the metal contacts, Would there be any interest in some connectors if I can find someone to manufacture the metal contacts to go with the 3d printed parts?

I received my Darrin gas tank a few weeks ago, it looks great. My question now is what color should it be? My old tank was black but I don't know if it should be painted at all or is there a color it should be and  gloss or flat.

I just receive an upper and lower frame from Adam. Brand new in the box. If he does not have any more you could use mine as a pattern, depending on how long they will be needed. I will not need mine for at least 6 months, probably longer.

I have one which I think came from a 134f 4 cylinder. I think I may cut and splice in an extension and use that as a template to get one made, I just need to find someone local that can bend and flare.
