I have been nothing but problems with this build, but think I've figure it out till next problem.   Finally got right bell housing, got a starter 12v, alternator, got it started.  now it seemed the drive shaft was too long, but after sitting looking at it today, I think I may have found the problem.  The bracket that the motor mount sets on was in backwards or wrong side.  I switched them around and it may have done the trick.  It moved the engine forward about 3 inches, ran out of day lite to finish it.

Ran into a problem today!

1949 jeepster but has a 52? 161F engine, well when to put the transmission in place today and won't fit... being a 6 cyl it's longer and set back to far..for tranny and drive shaft...

I thinking moving the engine forward just need ideas on motor mount setup.

Hello

I bought a jeep the has the 161f engine in it, jeep people know little about it.  It seems the it more a Kaiser engine then anything else.

So my question is what carburetor goes on it.  I can seem to find any info on it.
