Collector's Corner / Kaiser Frazer Henry J bronze plate
« on: October 03, 2020, 01:25:13 PM »
I recently purchased this from the estate of a longtime friend. Does anyone know what it came off of? It measures 1-3/8" X 2-1/4" and is a heavy brass/bronze material. Perhaps something from a dealer item?
Thanks
Bob

Collector's Corner / 1947 Frazer plaster styling model
« on: July 09, 2020, 10:53:30 AM »
After several years of trying I was able to obtain this plaster styling model of the 47 Frazer. It was brought into a local antique mall by a woman whose grandfather worked for K-F. it is about 9" wide and a shade over 25" long. Note the whitewall tires on one side and blackwalls on the other.

I am in need of a good useable hood release cable/knob assembly for my 47 Frazer Manhattan.
Thanks

Thanks for the info. I find that this must be the generic version as the driver has the blue suit and there is no name stamped on the frame.

I recently picked up this Darrin Japanese tin by Ichiko. As you push it the dog moves up and down in his seat. A bladder makes a squeaking noise as if he is barking to show his pleasure in the ride. It is 8-1/4" long and in very good condition although I could use a hubcap if anyone has one.

Thanks Gordie. It is a blue-gray color but has no motor.

Picked this up yesterday at an antique mall for under $50. Not sure which version it is. Can anyone confirm?
Thanks

Found this Carabela IKA fob at a local swap meet a couple weeks ago. The reverse almost looks like there is an area that could be engraved. Any ideas?

I was delighted to pick up this K-F plastic Lustre Seal #1 bottle recently at an antique mall in the area. It was filthy when I got it but cleaned up like new. I don't live that far from Willow Run but I do not come across the cans or bottles. This is the only related item I have at this point.

Enjoying the collector's corner feature. Thought I would submit a few photos of some K-F related pins & badges I have in my collection. I have been collecting automotive pins and badges for decades and always looking for more. I have a large Studebaker collection.

Kaiser Forum / Re: 47-48 Kaiser taillights - left or right?

Thanks for the help guys! I have two lefts. Didn't notice the small L on front of the lens. Have a chance to pick up some more of these this weekend. Will have to look for rights!

Kaiser Forum / 47-48 Kaiser taillights - left or right?
« on: January 29, 2018, 06:26:32 PM »
I bought a pair of NOS 47-48 Kaiser taillight assemblies and found the parts book shows different part numbers for left & right. They are not marked, just top. Measuring from the outside left of the chrome bezel to the center of the red circle in the lens is 3 inches. From the right side measuring inward it is 2-3/4" Do I have two lefts or two rights?
Thanks.
