Just FYI Wilhelm, The shop manual has been scanned and is available on the www dot circleKF dot com site run by our PNW Region of the Kaiser-Frazer Owner's Club monthly news bulletin, "The Traveler" editor Jim Betts. It is most usable if you take a few minutes and sign up so that you can log into it. The site does not cost anything, but of course, you CAN sign up to get our region's news letter if you like and have it mailed to you for the low, low price of ten dollars a year! Parts manuals are available from time to time on ebay and at some swap meets, occasionally. Also some of the Club's vendors have them. Enjoy your Kaisers!
Thanks, Gordie. I'm looking to get one for the Brazilian guy who is restoring a 1951 Kaiser down there. I have the one pictured above but don't want to part with it as my original is rather pitted. I'll call Rudy to see if he has any. -Les
I am looking for another one of these: the rear emblem on the 51 Kaiser that says Darrin. This one is a reproduction I got from a vendor some years ago at a meet. Any help finding one or an original would be appreciated. Thanks
Some handy folks have lighted theirs. It should actually be pretty easy these days to make them pretty bright, with the LED's that are available. This was us, taken by a friend, John G, who has a 1951 Nash (we won't hold that against him though) and a 1952 Nash-Healey, on 04/18/15 at the Burger King Cruise-in, Arlington, WA. It was a great night, with the parking lot filled with great cars!
That's an owner installed accessory. It has a very high price, I'm afraid. I was simply... uh.... demonstrating to a friend what it would look like on HIS car. Yeah, that's it.
We've done quite a few shows over the last several years. It's enjoyable to introduce people to Kaisers or talk to the older folks who used to own one or their parents had one. Every now and then another Kaiser will be there, as in this show in 2013. Mine is the one with the blond of course. The 54 belongs to one of our club members from Whidbey Island, WA.
Nothing is left of K-F days. The building has been gutted several times over the years and is now a dentist office with parking on the street level. There is/was another entrance around back where there is an alley. It's at the second floor level as there is a hill behind this block.
This was the dealer in Everett, WA in 1946/47. The building is still there and the current owners make reference to it's days as a Kaiser-Frazer Dealer.
