Anyone have an Allstate trunk badge/script for sale? I know it’s a long shot but thought I would ask.

Just confirmed the Velocity NB51 set from EBay is the correct set for the front brakes. They have the modern linings not asbestos though. $27.87 shipped, thx

Henry J & Allstate Forum / 6 Cylinder Exhaust Header Pipe
« on: December 10, 2019, 12:08:24 AM »
Looking for a decent header pipe for 6 cylinder HJ or Allstate. Mine is damaged and trying to avoid the use of flex pipe over the transmission cross over member. I also read where a 4 cylinder header could be cut and the 6 cylinder flange could be welded on. Thx

I have looked all over the internet for front brake shoes for my 1953 Allstate. Tried Bendix 1221/51, Centric 111.00510 and Bendix AB-51 with no luck. I purchased the velocity NB53 from Ebay but they are 11" and will not work. Any Ideas or are they long gone like the 6 cylinder HJ waterpump?

Henry J & Allstate Forum / 1953 Allstate 6 cylinder fuel pump
« on: November 13, 2019, 04:25:30 PM »
Does anyone know where I can buy a new pump? The one on my motor now is a dual purpose for the wipers. If not would a 4 cylinder fuel pump work? Where could I buy it?
Thx Greg

Henry J & Allstate Forum / Henry J 6 Cylinder Water Pumps

I was able to rebuild my water pump using a 17104.83 Omix-Ada water pump bearing and a Gogoal Mechanical 5/8" seal from Amazon. You will have to reuse your pump vane assembly so make sure the back surface is stoned flat where the mechanical seal will ride. I was not able to find the little sap wire clip so I just used part of a cotter key. Since they are no longer remanufactured by Cardone I thought this might help out.
