Darrin Forum / Darrin Tires

I am sure this has been discussed before, but things are always changing in the antique tire world.  Need a new set of tires for my Darrin and would like to know where is the best place to purchase them.  Any options besides bias ply?

I am confused.  Should I bring the car or not.  Some say I can not show it, some say I can.  Having the car judged is not important to me, so that is not an issue.  But, I do NOT want to cause any problems at the KF national or be told to park in the WalMart lot across the street.  This is a one family owed car with 9700 miles and almost 100% original that is just driven around for fun.  I would rather stay home than cause any trouble.  I just need a simple you are welcome or you are not welcome.

I live in Dallas and would like to bring my Darrin to the event.  I am not a KF member, but would like to attend.  Is this a closed function, to members only?  There are no details on the web site.  I tried to contact the Web administrator, but received no response.  Is there another source for this information?

I need to replace the current tires on my Darrin.  The tires are cheap 2 ply bias.  The car wanders all over the road with only 9700 miles.  My experience with other antique vehicles has shown that radials are a big improvement.  A company called Diamond Back sell radials with the white wall that will fit.  Another company, Cooker Tire, sells a similar product, but not a radial.  Does anyone have experience they can share?

I am having trouble up-loading pictures.  The pictures are sized at 72KB, which is below the 128KB maximum.  I am receiving the following message "Cannot access attachments upload path!" after clicking the post button.  I have tried loading from the desktop and the C drive.  Any help would be appreciated.
