My 53 Willys Aero Lark has right hand threads on one side and left hand thread on the other.  Just to throw curve ball.

I might suggest you call Rick Kamen the Club's Willys Aero Mgr.

I just saw on Ebay, a postcard that speaks of the very last produced Manhattan. Apparently it went back to Toledo in 1987. What I found interesting was the fact that someone actually printed a post card with the Vin # of that car, and traced the owners back. The vin shown is 5136711022, truly making it a 55. Does KFOCI have a clue where that car is now? The seller of the post card is listed on Ebay as kfdragon53.... obviously tied in with K/F.
I would be REALLY interested in knowing where that car is now!
Any suggestions for research would be appreciated. Thanks so much!!

The 1947-48 lights had glass lenses and there were two  ............ . A single bulb light was used on the Kaisers, while a 2-bulb version  ............  on the Frazers. The main bulb was the stop and tail light function; on the Frazers, the second bulb  ............  for the directional signal light. Directional signals were not available from the  ............  year, the decision was made to go with plastic tail lilght lenses on the Frazer but continue to use  ......

Some have one circle in the lense ... some have two circles in the lense?

Why are there two versions of the lense?

Thanks for the Kudo Fid!

Here is the link where all the Automotive News are Archived Online.

You can limit to a YEAR and then search for topic.

Or Download the Scanned issue.  It seems all issues are there.  Jack is correct some of them are a bit fuzzy but they appear to be all there ... all 500 plus issues for our 10 year run.

Sorry to say Ben passed away many years ago.  I don't think he is still checking his email.  I will look to see if I have extras of those manuals.
