Parts For Sale & Wanted / Henry J parts needed
« on: February 26, 2013, 08:25:37 AM »
I'm looking for the right and left vent wing windows and frame that open and close. Also the bright hood trim above the grill for the drivers side and the bright corner piece on the drivers front fender above the grill and the center key stone small piece that joins the side together in the middle. I also would like the arm rest for both sides and two good wiper arms (not blades). My Henry J is an early 1951 Deluxe with no trunk, solid vent windows, no arm rests, with brown alligator trim and Aloha Green paint. Thanks in advance for any help.

Henry J & Allstate Forum / Re: ALOHA GREEN PAINT

I'm glad you asked about the formula for aloha green as I'm going to need to know that information also. With the info that has been posted I was able to get a sample made at our local paint shop and it matches great. They sent a color match  request to their R&M supplier and got an answer the same day. They reqested the Limco brand of acyrlic enamel, and urethane enamel. They are waiting for the formula for base/clear which they tell me should be no problem getting. The best info I can pass on to you is the BASF stock number that they were able to reference the formula from. It's 606212. Good luck on your project. Don.

Parts For Sale & Wanted / Henry J Defroster ducts needed
« on: May 10, 2011, 04:30:37 PM »
I'm looking for both left and right side defroster ducts for a Henry J. I'd like to have the second generation  "fresh air heater" defroster ducts if possible, but then beggars can't be choosers. Look in the Henry j / Allstate forum under, Defroster ducts? and open the 100173pdf to see a complete parts list and illustration. Their factory part numbers are  left-212674,  right- 212675. Thanks for any and all help and many thanks for those who make this forum such a great resource for information. Don

Thanks fellows' ,you are all a wealth of information and I honored to receive your help. My heater is indeed a 100238 dealer installed unit as per your info. The drivers side smaller defrost duct is missing from somewhere in the past. I can also see that the "fresh air heater" has better designed ducts that fit the slots and screw holes. If any one has a 212915 left side duct and the s clips #2123978 for the first style unit or the new and improved fresh air heater defroster ducts  #212674 & 212675, I would be interested in buying them. Again, many thanks to you all. Don

Henry J & Allstate Forum / Defroster ducts?
« on: April 15, 2011, 03:59:53 PM »
My question is, on early 51 Henry J's were the heater/defrosters factory or dealer installed or both. My car is an early 51 and it only had one defroster on the passengers side clipped into the factory slot and was half as long as the slot is. Needless to say I'm looking for the factory defroster ducks that would mount in the two screw holes at the end of each duct. Thanks for your help. Don
