General Discussion / 1951 Henry J Top Sportsman NHRA - Route 66 Raceway Sponsorship
« on: February 20, 2012, 12:08:35 PM »
Good Morning, Henry J Supporters:
I am contacting you all on behalf of my husband - David Granger - Owner/Driver of the
fastest steel body Henry J in the USA. Best ET 7.19 - 191 MPH and winner of the coveted
"Wally" in 2008 at Earlville, Iowa.
We race in 5 states and want to get the word out about the "HENRY J" and ask for your support!
We are a 3 person operation and although a huge sponsorship would be fantastic as would some really deep pockets - we wanted to appeal to our fellow club members so we can put the car club name on the side of the car and get our Henry J name out there!
We love the sport - and invite you all to visit the website ( that needs to be updated SOON in that our webmaster passed away in 2008) www.rememberwhenracing.com to see this really neat car.
I represent the PR/Marketing end of the "operation" and my husband, Dave - is the Owner/Driver and HUGE lover the Henry J.. This car was found abandoned in the Arizona desert after 30 yrs and transformed into a VERY fast car. Please come out to Route 66 if you are in the Chicago area - would LOVE to meet all of you! Thanks..........!! K Granger - Tinley Park, Illinois USA
Here's to a Winning Racing Season and thank you to all. :-)
