General Discussion / Re: Larry Smith #238 - Hospice
« on: October 03, 2020, 07:39:26 PM »
Talked to Larry a few months ago and he seemed fine, didn't mention being ill. Very sorry to hear he passed. I've known him since 1971.
I feel like a vulture but does anyone have information as to his estate? He had a bunch of parts and several cars.

Frazer Forum / Re: 1951 FRAZER

The subject Frazer now resides in my garage after purchasing it about 3 years ago. Odometer now reads slightly less than 48,000 miles. It needed a good clean up and a little mechanical work but overall it's a very nice car. The original interior is nearly in mint condition, only a slight wear to the driver side carpet. I need to do some more work on it as it leaks oil nearly everywhere, motor, trans, rear end.

Did anyone follow up on this Dragon or do we know who owns it? The listing is gone from Craig's List.

I'm sure the Frazer pictured once belonged to Mark Chandler from the San Diego area.
I bought the car from him this past year. It's a nice original car with slightly less than 48,000 miles. (Original means factory paint, chrome and interior. Tires have been replaced.)

Glad you got the car, it's a beauty! I told the seller I would be interested if the buyer did not come through.

Cars For Sale & Wanted / 49 Virginian on eBay
« on: February 08, 2011, 02:34:26 PM »
Does anyone know anything about this car?
Has anyone seen it in person?
Is it a scam?

It was my understanding that the Virginian was never produced in this color combination but that's from years old information. Also of interest is the cloth interior. I'm not an expert on this model but never seen one tht wasn't leather interior.
I've asked for pictures of the ID and Serial number plates.
