I think Rudy may be the only source for the repros but may also want to check with Larry Barker for the repros or replacements. ;)

Suggest you contact Larry Barker, AZ who's in the club (current President and huge KF parts vendor).  You may want to list the make and model of your car as well as the original KF Part Number from the appropriate KF Parts List to ensure a match.

I've logged into my account and do not see links to the "Members Only" info either.   ???

And, "YES" I am in the correct KFOCI Members Portal!  ;D

"We have a password controlled, members only area of the current club website (we moved it more than a year ago) that works just fine for what is there so far."

What is wrong with this??   Looks good to me! 😀

Kaiser Forum / Re: back-up lights for '54 KM
« on: August 28, 2022, 12:49:44 PM »
Retroguy, attached are the instructions and locating template for the 52 Kaisers (later bumper).

Step 4 on this installation sheet references wiring sheet instructions "included in Wiring Package Part No. 100222"  which I have also added.

...and just to further complicate things, the KF Parts Lists for the 52-53 cars list part number 100288 for the back-up lights while the 54 Parts List calls out 100336 as the part number for the 54 cars!  I have no idea what the difference is nor do I have a 100336 installation instructions sheet!

However, the attached 52 Kaiser instructions will provide the location template you are looking for.

Hope this helps with your installation in the correct factory recommended location.

Peace.

Does Rudy Phillips in CA still have them?  Unless there is an individual holding onto a NOS or repro set, he was the only vendor I ever knew selling the repros.

Adams information is on the bottom of the Manufacturing Fund Order Form (last page of Monthly KFOCI Bulletin).  Hope this helps.   ;)

The temperature sender for your car is indeed screwed into the head.  Same for 51-53K and 54 Early Special (photo attached).

I believe it can still be purchased at NAPA but unfortunately I was unable to find the part number; hopefully someone of the Forum will have it.   ;)

Great and very helpful information Jack.  Thanks for sharing.

I only saw 6-7 Long Beach 51 K's in the Registry.  Looks like this could be a pretty rare car.

Funny how it found it's way back to factory via the new owner who lives in the vicinity.  I smell a story for an upcoming Quarterly!!   :) 8)
