i made a puller. i cut out the center of an extra rim i had then welded a piece of pipe to it small enough so the bolts or nuts depending on your hub would fit. i then welded a plate on the top of the pipe and drilled and tapped a 3/4x10 hole in the center of which i inserted a 3/4 inch bolt. you then bolt this to your hub screw in the bolt and pull the hub. i use an impact wrench which works great.
when i reassemble i use anticease so the next time you need to remove it they come off easy

i had my engine rebuilt and they put in a new rope seal in the rear main and it still leaks. is there anything i can do to stop this leak

I thank you guy's for the info. The shoes in my 48 Kaiser are in with the long shoe in the rear i will be changing them to the long shoe in the front and maybe i will be able to stop better because right now it takes a long time to stop and a lot of pressure on the foot peddle

Looking for a gear shift knob for a 48 Kaiser new or very good used.
Does anyone know where I could find the original upholstery, trim code 121 Gray Pinstripe, for the same.
